C L 2010. Day.8. Match 11. Royal Challengers vs SA Redbacks.

South Australia Redbacks 155 for 2 eased in to the semifinals 3 on 3, beating Royal Challengers 154 all out, by eight wickets.

Batting first, Royal Challengers with out the services of Kallis, did nothing of note other than two blistering innings of 46 of 33 by Ross Taylor and 46 of 22 by D du Preez. Cameroon White laboured for 56 deliveries to make 25. Others came & went. Christian was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 23, supported by Tait 2 for 23, Putland 2 for 37, O'Brien 1 for 28 and Bailey 1 for 29.

For Redbacks, Harris 57 of 38 and Klinger 69 of 57, gave a 124 runs opening start. Manou was out for a duck, but Ferguson, joining Klinger made 21 of 14 to finish the match in the 19th over. Kumble took the lone wicket to be taken by a bowler.

Royal Challengers looked a jaded side, and need to pull their socks in the remaining matches to be in contention for semis.
