ICC-CWC-2011. Match.14. Gr.A. Kenya vs Sri Lanka.

Kenya 142 all out lost to Sri Lanka 146 for 1 by nine wickets in another one sided match. there is nothing to write from cricketing point of view other than the blistering 7.4-0-38-6, spell by Malinga, which included an hat trick.

One cannot imagine a Sri Lankan team, without Malinga. It is as if no Malinga, no Sri Lanka. It is very difficult to control a side arm, slinging action, and Malinga does it consistently. Look at the number of clean bowled and LBW decisions, which is over 55%. Truly a great bowler. How one wish, India had such a bowler along with Zaheer.

Sri Lanka knocked of the required runs in 18.4 overs, with unbeaten 67 of 59 balls from Taranga, 44 of 30 balls by Dilshan and 27 not out of 24 by Sangakara. Sri Lanka are at the top of group A with four points from three matches.
